America's Baking and Sweets Show returns to Schaumburg with Ace of Cakes' Duff Goldman

The Ace of Cakes Duff Goldman will be among the featured guests next month when the Schaumburg Convention Center hosts the return of America's Baking and Sweets Show Nov. 13-15.

With a theme of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” the show will feature several themed zones, special guests, demonstrations and hands-on classes. The Family Zone presented by T-Fal AirBake, GoodCook and Sweet Creations, will allow children to develop and share a passion for baking, while the American Talent Showcase competitions highlight master chefs and passionate bakers.

Along with Goldman, celebrity guests Brian Emmett, winner of CBS' “The American Baking Competition”; Heather Saffer, a winner on the Food Network's “Cupcake Wars”; and Sally Quinn from “Sally's Baking Addiction.”

Visitors can see the most delectable and hottest trends, as well as products from exhibitors in a range of categories including baking, sweets and confectionary, coffee and tea, liqueurs, and kitchenware.

Back by popular demand is the Baking Academy, created for people with a passion for baking, who are looking for inspiration. One-hour demonstrations are available, as well as two-and-a-half hour hands-on classes.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15. The convention center is located at 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg. For more information, visit www.americasbakingandsweetsshow.com.
