College of Lake County to launch STEM speaker series
College of Lake County will launch a speakers series on science, technology, engineering and mathematics at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.
The theme of the evening will be "Materials Science - The Chemistry of Everyday Stuff." The free program will include demonstrations highlighting the properties and reactions of metals, polymers and ceramics.
