Join 'Pint for a Pint' event at Hanover Township Senior Center

Hanover Township and LifeSource are hosting a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Hanover Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett. LifeSource is a nonprofit corporation that distributes over half a million blood products to 60 area hospitals.

"The winter months can be challenging for receiving blood donations due to holiday celebrations and weather conditions," said Steve Caramelli, Hanover Township trustee. "We rely on the support of our residents to ensure area hospitals have the resources they need to serve the community."

All donors will receive a free pint of Culver's Frozen Custard for their donation in this "Pint for a Pint" event. Participants must have a photo ID to donate.

Donors are asked to register ahead of time by calling the Hanover Township Office of Community Health at (630) 483-5665. Walk-ins are welcome.
