Friends of the Fox River Grove Library Book Sale starts Nov. 12

It's almost that time of year again! The Friends of the Fox River Grove Memorial Library's fall book sale is just around the corner, starting on Nov. 12.

If you're getting an early start on your holiday shopping, you'll be sure to snag just the right gift that won't break the bank. Terrific deals on books, CDs, and DVDs are sure to be found.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, and Friday, Nov. 13, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. There will be a $4 plastic bag sale on Saturday. The library is located at 407 Lincoln Ave. in Fox River Grove.

Cleaning out your book shelves? Donations of gently used books will be accepted during regular library hours through Wednesday, Nov. 11. Unfortunately, they are unable to accept encyclopedias, magazines, or text books. Volunteers to help with the sale are always welcome and appreciated.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the library and the community. Recently, the proceeds funded scholarships to hardworking Fox River Grove high school seniors. Questions? Contact the library staff at (847) 639-2274.
