Girls volleyball: Jacobs topples Hampshire

Jacobs d. Hampshire: Katie Mahoney had 7 kills while Bridget Wallenberger added 5 kills and 4 digs as Jacobs won this Fox Valley Conference crossover 25-6, 25-21. Monet Charron added 6 digs for the Golden Eagles while Paige Queffelec had 5 digs and 14 assists.

Dundee-Crown d. Grayslake North: In an FVC crossover, Ashley Raby (6 kills), Frankie Cavallaro (6 kills, 12 assists, 8 digs) led the Chargers (22-8) to a 25-12, 25-17 win. Zoe Sitarz had 11 digs and 4 aces for Dundee-Crown.

Huntley d. Grayslake Central: Erin Erb had 8 kills and Alyson Dion added 7 to lead the Red Raiders to a 25-15, 25-10 FVC crossover win. Brea Jareb had 9 digs for Huntley (21-14).

CL South d. CL Central: Kendall Kilberger (16 digs, 12 kills), Jordan Proszenyak (10 digs, 7 kills, 2 aces), Ariana Chelini (7 digs), Emily Slimko (15 assists) and Hannah Koenig (4 blocks) led the Gators (20-15) to a 25-20, 25-20 FVC crossover win.

St. Charles East d. South Elgin: Rachel Priore had 17 kills and 6 digs for South Elgin (16-16) while Sarah Murray had 17 digs and Phoebe Duncan added 15 in 20-25, 25-17, 25-22 Upstate Eight crossover loss.

Glenbard South d. St. Edward: Dominique Washington had 7 kills and 7 digs for the Green Wave (16-15, 6-7) in a 25-23, 25-16 Metro Suburban West loss.

Harvest Christian d. Elgin: Ellie Burzlaff (11 kills), Mikayla Robinson (5 blocks), Amanda Cassidy (8 kills, 11 digs) and Hannah Murray (24 assists) led the Lions to a 25-14, 25-21 nonconference win.
