Schaumburg Park District offers Friday Tot Lot

Fridays are fun days for little ones at the Sport Center gym, where children ages 1 to 6 enjoy mornings playing with balls, riding toys and experimenting with toy tunnel equipment.

Activities also include parent-led parachute games during Friday Tot Lot from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every week at the Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road.

"This program gives parents and children an opportunity to play together and socialize with other families," said Karen Shannon, Sport Center facility manager.

Register for the entire session or pay a $5 per family daily drop-in fee. The first session runs through Oct. 30. A second session starts Nov. 6. Cost to register for the second session is $18 for residents and $27 for nonresidents.
