Small Town Brewery opens its doors

Fans of Wauconda's Small Town Brewery have reason to cheer. Its new on-site taproom officially opens Saturday. Sixteen beers, including the Not Your Father's Root Beer, will be on tap for customers on opening day. The taproom will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Small Town Brewery is at 1000 Rand Road, Wauconda. Tokio's Halloween beer dinner

Tokio Pub joins up with Boulevard Brewing Company for a four-course Halloween beer dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26. Spooky eats include the full moon trio, black caldron pasta, braised rabbit and a chocolate stout cupcake for dessert. Snuggery's $6 specials

The Snuggery Schaumburg serves up $6 cocktails everyday. Also included are cocktails like the red apple hooch, made of Kentucky Fire Whiskey, Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker, cranberry juice and lemon sour.
