LAF (Laughter And Food) For LRF (Leukemia Research Foundation) Align For October 21 Fund Raiser At Cadwell's Grille In Embassy Suites Deerfield

DEERFIELD - LAF for LRF - Laughter and Food for Leukemia Research Foundation - a special evening of entertainment and dining to raise funds for LRF, takes center stage and the buffet table on

The evening features Cadwell's Grille's signature gourmet dinner buffet at 6:00 p.m., including:

•Open-faced Whiskey & Rye (mini Reubens)

•Street Taco Station (pork belly and fish tacos with toppings)

•Prime Rib Slider Station

•Salad Bar

•Grilled Veggie Platter

•Hummus with crudite and warm pita points

•Kid-friendly buffet

•Dessert featuring a fruit display, cheese board with crackers, churro bites with spiced

Mexican chocolate, and mini cheesecake with fruit compote

A variety show on the main stage follows dinner at 7:00 p.m., emceed by comedian and impressionist, Andrew Pond. Entertainers include:

•The Electric Full Contact Theater with song, dance, improve, and sketch comedy mayhem

•Neil Tobin, Necromancer, thrilling magical and psychic offerings

•Mike Sherman, music sensation, of Felix and Fingers Dueling Piano

•One Clown Walking and his "feets of wonder" and other shenanigans

Comedy Section tickets are $90 per person and include premium seating down front, four (4) raffle tickets, and entry into the performers' "meet and greet" after the show; Drama Section tickets are $70 per person and includes table seating near the stage, and two (2) raffle tickets; and Music Section tickets are $40 per person and includes general admission seating at high boy tables/other seats. Senior seating (over 60 years of age) is $35 in the Music Section only, youth seating (children under 12 years of age) is $15 in all sections.

Cadwell's Grille offers comfort food with a twist, a downtown experience featuring grass fed burgers, barbecue ribs and short ribs, prawns and grits, rotisserie chicken, grilled steaks, and seared pork belly.
