Drew Barrymore to discuss new memoir in Naperville

Actress Drew Barrymore, who has starred in films ranging from "E.T." to "The Wedding Singer," will be in Naperville late this month to discuss her newly released memoir, "Wildflower."

Barrymore, who comes from a family of early film pioneers and has been acting since she was 6, will speak at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Yellow Box Theater in Naperville's Community Christian Church at 1635 Emerson Lane. Tickets are required and available at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave., or online at www.andersonsbookshop.com.

"Wildflower" is described as a portrait of Barrymore's life told through stories about her early days and her career leading up to today.

In addition to her work as an actress in films such as "Charlie's Angels" and "Fever Pitch," Barrymore is a director and producer.
