St. Edward qualifies for 1A state tournament
Out at Prairie View Golf Course for the Class 1A Byron sectional, St. Edward's boys golf team placed second, giving the Green Wave golfers a chance at the state title.

No local teams were able to snag a top three spot. Kaneland came closest with a team score of 323, which tied advancing Vernon Hills for third place. The Cougars won the tiebreaker.
