Harvest festival and camp fire
Celebrate the harvest season around a campfire with friends at a new event from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Lake County Fairgrounds, Peterson and Midlothian roads, Grayslake. Lake County residents are invited to enjoy live music, a campfire, hayrides, farm heritage display, seasonal brews and wine and more, at this new offering from the Lake County Fair Association. Admission is free. Musical acts are: Gritman & Moran at 2 p.m.; Smooth Operators at 5 p.m.; and, Mike Novello Music at 6:30 p.m. Recreational deals will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Camping World/Good Sam RV Super Sale.
