Flu vaccinations for veterans

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is offering free flu vaccinations Saturday, Oct. 17, at the North Chicago campus, 3001 Green Bay Road, and at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in McHenry. The North Chicago campus walk-in flu shot clinic, 8 a.m. to noon, is available to active duty military, active duty family members, military retirees and eligible veterans. It will take place in the primary care building and immunization clinic. The McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic walk-in flu shot clinic, 8 a.m. to noon at 3715 Municipal Drive, is available to eligible veterans. Eligible veterans with proof of service may enroll with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at both clinics.
