Marching Mustangs top at St. Rita competition

The Marching Mustangs took home several awards from the St. Rita Mustang Stampede Marching Contest on September 27, including Best Color Guard, Best Music, Best Drums, Best Drum Majors, Best General Effect and First Place overall in Class AA.

In addition, the team had the highest Drum Major score of all eight bands.

This year's show, Revolution and Triumph, includes intricate drill formations, vibrant flag choreography and powerful revolutionary themed music.

Upcoming performances for the award-winning Marching Mustangs include the home football game on Friday, Oct. 16; the Renegade MusicFest at Sandwich High School on Sunday, Oct. 18; the Band-O-Rama Concert on Wednesday, Oct. 21; and the final regular season home football game on Friday, Oct. 23.
