Arijit Singh and His Symphony Orchestra Dazzles Chicago Music Lovers
Hoffman Estate IL: The highly acclaimed Indian playback singer, Arijit Singh, supported by a state-of-the-art symphony orchestra, leading musicians, and talented vocalists, performed live and mesmerized Bollywood music lovers in a Concert, presented by Cinestarz Entertainment, in association with Panasonic and Harbir Virk, on Oct. 2nd , 2015, 8: 30 pm onwards, at Sears Center Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estate, Illinois. Rafi Hussain, CEO, Cinestarz Entertainment, a heavyweight in the domain of entertainment, conceptualized and executed the event with a touch of world class professionalism.
The 28-year-old singing sensation kick started the scintillating evening with the most haunting melody, always raging in the hearts of music lovers, "Tum Hi Ho", from the super hit movie Aashiqui 2
This was followed by a wave of such soulful numbers as "Chahoon Main Ya Na", "Suno Na Sang-e-marmar", Mohabbat Barsa Dena Tu Saawan Aaya Hai", "Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyaar Aaya Hai", "Jo Bheji Thi Dua Who Jaa Ke Aasmaan", "Dil Sambhal Ja Zara", "Who Ankhyaan Kare Jee Huzoori", " Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse", etc.
These melodious songs not only uplifted the mood of the audience but also ignited the air at the venue with the magic of romance. A good number of music lovers, especially their younger counterparts, were seen dancing energetically to the fast tunes of the songs.
Arijit stole the thunder and captured the hearts of the young generation by singing "Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho" from the movie "Citylights".
He also sang a few hit songs, composed by late Aadesh Srivastava, and paid rich tributes to him as a multi-talented music director and as a great human being.
The audience was literally blown away with the dazzling display of musical talent, nonstop singing for over 5 hours, and a fusion of the rare talent of Arijit and the musical capabilities of his team. This proved to be a grand treat for the music enthusiasts and made event super hit.
Arijit garnered huge admiration from the audience for his gifted versatility as a natural performer.
"What a beautiful performance by all: the lead singer, the orchestra, and the backup vocalists. This is what music is all about; it touched the souls, regardless of language, color, creed, and geographical boundaries", said a Native American in the audience, who seemed to have enjoyed the evening as thoroughly as his counterparts from the Indian Subcontinent.

The event attracted over 10,000 Bollywood music fans from Chicago and adjoining States.
