Juried art exhibition opens Friday at CLC
Recent Works 2015, the 35th annual juried exhibition for Lake County artists kicks off with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. The competition includes all fine art media and is open to all artists who live or work in Lake County. More than $1,000 in cash prizes and purchase awards will be presented. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; and, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
