Country Royalty Coming to Prairie Center October 30

The Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts will host "Country Royalty: Jason Petty and Carolyn Martin's Musical Tribute to Hank Williams and Patsy Cline" on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

Petty and Martin - veteran performers and actors - have teamed up to take a look back at the work of Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, the two biggest names country music has ever seen. While the two performers never shared a stage, Williams and Cline lead lives that were both fascinating and tragic. The legacy they left is felt to this very day. Backed by a live 5‐piece band, Country Royalty will take you back in time to when these country giants ruled the airwaves. All of their biggest hits are covered, including: "Crazy," "Hey Good Lookin'," "Sweet Dreams," "Your Cheatin' Heart," "Walking After Midnight," "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," and many, many more.

Tickets for Country Royalty are $25 ($23 for seniors and students) and can be ordered online at www.prairiecenter.org or by calling 847-895-3600. The Prairie Center is located at 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL.
