In honor of the Cubs' playoff run, Himalayan Restaurants offer up goat biryani, a traditional curried rice dish from Asia, to fans everywhere. Reverse the curse with this long grain basmati rice, goat meat on the bone and house-made biryani spice. It comes served with raita sauce and salad for $13.95. Aliano's Ristorante opening second spot

Aliano's Ristorante, an Italian restaurant in Batavia, is opening a second location in downtown East Dundee. The new restaurant is expected to open in November at 310 N. River St., which formerly housed Pasquale's Pizzeria & Delicatessen. Owner Mario Aliano plans to continue the Batavia location's family-style cooking and dishes made using his mother's and grandmother's recipes. Aliano's Ristorante is located at 90 N.
