The Weeknd, One Direction, Gomez to perform on Jingle Ball tour

NEW YORK - The Weeknd, One Direction and Selena Gomez are slated to perform on the 11-date Jingle Ball tour, stopping at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16.

IHeartRadio announced Monday that the tour will kick off Dec. 1 in Dallas with One Direction, Calvin Harris and Demi Lovato, and visit Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, New York and Washington, D.C., before concluding on Dec. 19 in Tampa, Florida.

The lineup of performers varies for each city, though roughly 10 acts will hit the stage at each show. The Rosemont show will feature Nick Jonas, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Tove Lo, Charlie Puth, Hailee Steinfeld, R. City and DNCE.

The Dec. 11 show at New York's Madison Square Garden will stream on Yahoo! and air as a 90-minute special on the CW Network on Dec. 17.
