Art Van Furniture to open in Algonquin

ALGOQNUIN - Art Van Furniture said it plans to open its 10th Chicago area store in Algonquin in the site of the former Gordmans store at 1500 S. Randall Road.

The renovation of the new Algonquin store is expected to take approximately six months, with a projected grand opening in May 2016. The company will create 40 new full time and part time jobs.

"We look forward to working hand in hand with families at our new store in the Algonquin Commons lifestyle center to enhance their homes and their lives."

Art Van Furniture's Chicago area locations include Batavia, Bedford Park, Chicago Logan Square, Downers Grove, Naperville, Orland Park and Woodridge in Illinois and Merrillville, Indiana. The retailer will open its first franchise location in Rockford in November 2015.
