Buckeyes receiver carted off field with apparent leg injury
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Ohio State receiver Corey Smith was taken off the field on a golf cart after he appeared to injure his lower right leg during the third quarter of Saturday's game at Indiana.
It looked like Smith's leg got caught underneath a pileup on the Hoosiers sideline.
After several minutes, trainers lifted Smith onto the cart and placed a towel over his head. The crowd applauded politely as he was taken away.
Smith had not caught a pass for the top-ranked Buckeyes.
