Foligno, Saad each score twice, Blue Jackets beat Predators

Nick Foligno and Brandon Saad scored twice to help the Columbus Blue Jackets rout the visiting Nashville Predators 7-1 on Saturday night in their preseason finale.

Rene Bourque, Jared Boll and Brandon Dubinsky also scored, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves.

Cody Hodgson scored for Nashville.

Pekka Rinne allowed all seven goals before being replaced Carter Hutton with 5:50 left in the third period. Rinne made 26 saves, and Hutton stopped one shot.

RED WINGS EDGE MAPLE LEAFS

At Toronto, Andreas Athanasiou and Anthony Mantha each had a goal and an assist in the Detroit Red Wings' 2-1 victory over the Maple Leafs.

Petr Mrazek made 28 saves to help Detroit finish 6-0-2 in the preseason.

Brad Boyes scored, and Jonathan Bernier made 13 saves for Toronto. The Maple Leafs lost their last five exhibition games to finish 3-5-0.

BLACKHAWKS BLANK STARS

At Chicago, Corey Crawford and Scott Darling combined for a shutout in the Blackhawks' 4-0 victory over the Dallas Stars.

Crawford made 13 saves in 29:15, and Darling stopped 15 shots in 29:44.

Marian Hossa scored twice, and Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw added goals.

Antti Niemi stopped 17 of 18 shots in the first two periods, and Kari Lehtonen, who allowed three goals on 11 shots in the third.

KINGS TOP AVALANCHE

At Las Vegas, Jonathan Quick made 15 saves in the Los Angeles Kings' 4-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.

Dustin Brown, Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis and Marian Gaborik scored.

Reto Berra made 28 saves for Colorado.

The game was played at the MGM Grand. Las Vegas and Quebec City are vying for NHL expansion franchises.

DUCKS ROUT SHARKS

At Anaheim, California, Cam Fowler and Hampus Lindholm each had a goal and an assist in the Ducks' 5-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks.

Corey Perry, Josh Mason and Kevin Bieksa also scored, and Frederik Andersen made 16 saves.

Dylan Demelo scored for San Jose, and Alex Stalock allowed all five Anaheim goals on 39 shots.

Sharks forward Raffi Torres was assessed a match penalty with 7:15 left in the first period for a check to Anaheim forward Jakub Silfverberg, who did not return to the game.

DROUIN LIFTS LIGHTNING PAST PANTHERS

At Sunrise, Florida, Jonathan Drouin scored with 2:02 left to give the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 victory over the Panthers.

Ondrej Palat and Brian Boyle also scored in the third period to erase a 2-0 deficit.

Ben Bishop made 32 saves on 34 shots.

Derek MacKenzie and Nick Bjugstad scored first-period goals for Florida.

Roberto Luongo made 27 saves.

STONE HEALS SENATORS BEAT CANADIENS

At Ottawa, Ontario, Mark Stone scored once and set up two goals, and Kyle Turris added four assists in the Senators' 5-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

Chris Neil, Mike Hoffman, Chris Wideman and Cody Ceci also scored for the Senators. Dale Weise, Alex Galchenyuk, Brendan Gallager and Max Pacioretty scored for the Canadiens.

SEDIN SCORES IN OT FOR CANUCKS

At Vancouver, British Columbia, Daniel Sedin scored 29 seconds into overtime to give the Canucks a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Jannik Hansen and Bo Horvat also scored for Vancouver, and Ryan Miller made 25 saves.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Benoit Pouliot scored for the Oilers, and Cam Talbot stopped 24 shots. The Oilers finished the preseason 6-1-1.

CHIAROT HELPS JETS BEAT FLAMES

At Calgary, Alberta, defenseman Ben Chiarot scored to help the Winnipeg Jets beat the Flames 3-2.

Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford also scored for the Jets.

Lance Bouma and David Jones scored for Calgary.
