Barrington chamber hosts Bliss Holiday Luncheon

BARRINGTON - The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and Women's Biz Net will host its annual Barrington Bliss Holiday Luncheon Nov. 19 at the Marriott Northwest, Route 59 and I-90.

The event celebrates the holidays with lunch, shopping booths, live entertainment, networking, and seasonal tips. The theme this year is "Live, Love, and Sparkle through the holidays." Christina Currie Events will be designing a Parisian luncheon with decor from M&M Special Events Co. She will also emcee interviews of local business owners and the chef from the venue. Interviewees will include Bonnie Conte with Avalon, Kathy Cappas with Epicure Bistro, and Chef Meredith with the Marriott.

In addition to the lunch and program, Bliss guests will enjoy a holiday performance by the Barrington High School Madrigals and live holiday jazz music performed by Lola Bard Productions. There will also be lots of shopping of local products.

Tickets to the event are $35 for members, and $45 for guests. A table of 8 can be purchased for $240. Tickets are available online at www.BarringtonChamber.com.
