Library Program Teaches Kids About Technology

Children ages 3 and 4 are invited to Discovery Kids Puter Bugs from 11-11:30 a.m., Tuesdays, Oct. 6-Nov. 3, in the Craft Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library (STDL), 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Registration and a fee of $20 is required, along with an STDL card. Registration takes place in person in the kidsZone, located on the library's first floor.

Participating children will learn to use technology as a tool for learning, communication and self-expression. Log on 2 Learning will teach children school readiness, keyboarding, problem-solving skills and more on mini laptops. Children will attend this program alone and must be comfortable in the room without a parent or adult caregiver. Adults must remain in the library's kidsZone during the program.
