Doubles edge carries Antioch past Wauconda

Antioch's double teams carried the day in a 4-3 win over Wauconda.

The Sequoits' No. 1 doubles team of Annie Horner and Emma DeJong got a 6-0, 6-1 win over Janvee Patel and Katie Miller. Antioch's other doubles teams of Ragen Griffin and Gabby Palm as well as Heather McNaughton and Allie Regalado also got wins.

Meanwhile, Sarah Hackman of Wauconda won the No. 1 singles match over Kelsey Neville, 2-6, 3-6. It was Neville's first regular match loss of the season.

Antioch's Sjana Henderson won the No. 2 singles match over Emma Lewandowski, 6-0, 6-1.

Stevenson d. Barrington: Stevenson lost both the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches but still managed a 6-2 win over Barrington.

Dhwani Kumar of Stevenson got a 6-3, 6-0 win in the No. 2 singles match while Kate Harvey and Vinaya Rao of Stevenson won the No. 2 singles match, 6-1, 6-4.
