Begu defeats Sasnovich to clinch Korea Open title

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Top-seeded Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania scored a comfortable 6-3, 6-1 victory over unseeded Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus in the final of the Korea Open on Sunday.
In a match that lasted only 78 minutes, 29th-ranked Begu saved three break points in each set on way to her second WTA title.
The 25-year-old Begu's previous title came at Tashkent three years ago and she has also figured in three other tour finals.
The 136th-ranked Sasnovitch, who beat second-seeded Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in the semifinals, struggled on serve, with seven of her eight double-faults coming in the first set.
