3 fatally shot, 2 wounded in rash of Indianapolis shootings

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police say three people were fatally shot and two were wounded during a rash of shootings that unfolded over several hours.

Police say the first shooting came about 9:15 p.m. Friday, when two men were found with gunshot wounds in a parking lot on the city's east side.

Two hours later, police say 19-year-old Gregory Paffumi was found fatally shot on the city's northwest side. And just a half-hour later, police responded to reports of gunfire and found another man shot to death on the city's near north side. That man hasn't been identified.

The third slaying occurred about 5 a.m. Saturday. Officers responding to reports of more gunfire found 35-year-old Antwan Ogletree shot to death, also on Indianapolis' near north side.
