McTeacher's Night a success in Bensenville
On Thursday, September 24th, Tioga School held a McTeacher's Night at the Bensenville McDonald's on Irving Park Rd. to raise money for the school. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money. The Tioga families all came to support their McTeacher Night fundraiser and the night was a big success. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers making ice cream and shakes, teachers selling pies and most of all lots of teachers singing for tips. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made the evening extra special. Ronald McDonald took many pictures with the families. A very very special thank you goes out to Parent and PTA president, Susan Vitellaro, who worked very hard to organize the entire event. Tioga earned $829.00 at their McTeacher Night. The PTA plans to put the money raised into the PTA fund to go towards items needed for the school..
