Elk Grove Village golf outing will raise money for scholarships
The ninth annual Frank J. Czarnik Memorial Golf Outing will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, at Fox Run Golf Links in Elk Grove Village to raise money for scholarships.
The outing is in memory of Czarnik, who was park board president, a member of the Jaycees, and involved in other local organizations.
Proceeds from the event fund college scholarships recognizing high school seniors who volunteer in their communities. Over the past eight years, 32 scholarships have been given out.
The outing, which begins with a 7 a.m. shotgun start, will include a variety of prizes, including the chance for a new car with a hole in one.
