Wheeling, Barrington battle to tie

A pair of second-half goals from Elias Cisneros, both assisted by Nick Janulis, helped host Wheeling net a 2-2 tie with Barrington in Mid-Suburban League boys soccer Tuesday.

Keeper Jose Castillo stopped for 4 shots for the Wildcats, who trailed 1-0 at the half.

Barrington, which finished 2-0-1 to win the Freeport tournament over the weekend, slipped to 9-2-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the MSL.

Fremd 3, Hoffman Estates 0: Max Clark, Luke Schoffstall and James Lefevre had second-half goals, and keepers Josh Kasser and Michael Kramer shared in a shutout as the visiting Vikings posted an MSL victory.

Prospect 4, Hersey 2: Chris Cooney powered the Knights' victory, scoring 3 goals and assisting on Prospect's other goal in MSL action.

Dominik Limanowka had 1 goal and an assist, and Eryk Soltys also had an assist for the Knights.
