Brain surgeon better than current option

Serial editorial page contributor Mary Warren of Wheaton needs to be challenged on her most recent contribution to the Daily Herald editorial page. She states that the Republicans are rejecting their own party and questions whether any of the "outsider" candidates can effectively govern.

Really now. I'm curious as to what qualities Ms. Warren considers essential in order to be the president of the United States of America? Certainly someone schooled in organizing communities, beliefs so strong that voting 'present' trumped the yes or no option, someone comfortable using the Constitution as a floor mat, someone so ashamed with the track record of probably the greatest free democracy in history feels compelled to embark on an apology tour, someone whose firm line in the sand is quickly erased with a stick, and lastly someone who sees no problem with racking up more debt all previous presidents combined. All fine qualities indeed.

Running a country is certainly not brain surgery, but I'll gladly accept and support a brain surgeon and a CEO with significant management ad budget experience over what we have now.
