Lisle police hunting for Dunkin' Donuts robber

Lisle police are hunting for a man who they say robbed the Dunkin' Donuts at 1109 Maple Ave. and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the man entered the store around 6:48 p.m. Thursday and demanded cash from the clerk. When the clerk complied, the man fled in what police believe was a black Ford Focus that was in the parking lot. He last was seen driving east on Maple.

No weapon was displayed, police said, and no one was injured.

Police say the suspect is a white male between the ages of 20 and 40 who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored knit cap, a light teal green T-shirt and blue jeans. They said he may have a star-shaped tattoo on his upper right forearm and was wearing a white cast, bandage or sleeve on his left forearm, possibly to cover additional tattoos.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at (630) 271-4200.
