Education and Work Center to host open house Sept. 21-25

The Hanover Park Education and Work Center, 6704 Barrington Road, will celebrate its first year with an open house from Monday, Sept. 21 to Friday, Sept. 25.

The open house will take place 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hanover Park's Education and Work Center offers English as a Second Language (ESL) as well as Illinois High School Equivalency (HSE) classes.

The on-site Illinois workNet Center also offers computer workshops, job search assistance, and more. All classes and services offered at the Education and Work Center are free of cost.

In honor of Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, visitors will receive a treat and a free book (one per each immediate family member, while supplies last).
