Girls volleyball: Huntley, Elgin Academy both win
Erin Erb and Alyson Dion each had 5 kills to lead Huntley's girls volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-11 Fox Valley Conference crossover win against Grayslake North Wednesday.
Dion also added 9 assists for the Red Raiders.
Elgin Academy d. Morgan Park Academy: In Independent School League action, Madeline Sporina had 9 kills and Elizabeth Clements added 7 kills and 3 aces to lead the Hilltoppers to a 25-23, 14-25, 25-21 win. Olivia Oberdorf (14 assists, 3 aces), Sophia Shapiro (7 digs) and Nadine Kademoglou (6 aces, 7 digs) also contributed to the win.
