CLC Foundation scholarship gala on Sept. 26
A festive evening is planned in downtown Chicago to raise funds for student scholarships at the CLC Foundation's annual scholarship gala. Called "Funding the Future: Black and White Ball," the event is set for Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Drake Hotel. The gala begins at 6 p.m. and includes hors d'oeuvres, martini/open bar, silent auction, raffles, a gourmet dinner, live auction and dancing in the Gold Coast ballroom of the historic Drake Hotel. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Ron Harris Band. Tickets are $325 each. For more information about attending the gala, call (847) 543-2400.
