Susie Mingee Round 1 Challenge 3

I prepared Rainbow Chili with Taco Pita Points & Cheese Star. I chose this dish because my family loves chili and it's a great way to sneak veggies into my kids' diet. I was so excited about the mystery ingredients. There were so many options I wanted to try! I was thrilled to be able to use my beloved kitchen shears while chopping veggies and cutting my taco pita points! I used the cheese as a focal point of my dish because it was so delicious and the star cut out made it fun and whimsical for my kids. My family said that this was the best chili I ever made. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this fun experience and was thrilled that I was able to include my daughters in the decision-making and tasting portion of this experience. It made me smile when my daughter said that my presentation was perfect for an American Girl Doll luncheon and my husband thought it'd be perfect accompanied by margaritas and guacamole and chips presented in the same glasses as the chili.
