College of Lake County Foundation to host scholarship gala

Friends of the College of Lake County will enjoy a festive evening in downtown Chicago to raise funds for student scholarships at the CLC Foundation's annual scholarship gala. Called "Funding the Future: Black and White Ball," the event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at The Drake Hotel.

The gala begins at 6 p.m. and includes hors d'oeuvres, martini/open bar, silent auction, raffles, a gourmet dinner, live auction and dancing in the Gold Coast ballroom of the historic Drake Hotel. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Ron Harris Band. Tickets are $325 each.

The grand prize gala raffle, sponsored by R.J. Galla Company of Grayslake, is a trip to Paris, with seven days and six nights at the winner's choice of the Mon Hotel, Le Saint Gregoire, Le Marquis Eiffel or the Banke Hotel with economy class air for two.
