Geneva wins Vernon Hills' Cougar Classic

Vernon Hills invite: At Vernon Hills Golf Club, Geneva shot a 361 to win the Cougar Classic.

Darby Lillibridge and Reilly Krohe carded matching 84s to lead Geneva.

Runner-up Conant (366) boasted medalist Megan Nagorzanski, who fired a 78.

Lemont (368) was third, followed by Stevenson (384), Vernon Hills (412) and Lake Zurich (443). Kara Ahlemeyer of Grayslake's co-op had an 85 to finish fifth. The top 10 also included Vernon Hills' Faith Jung (90, seventh) and Stevenson's Katie Hannahs (91, ninth) and Olivia Stomberrg (92, 10th).
