Libertyville, Zion meet in battle of unbeatens

Last week: Libertyville def. Lake Forest Academy, 48-0; Zion-Benton def. Waukegan, 28-8

Last year's result: Libertyville 48, Zion-Benton 21.

Skinny: After allowing 4 touchdowns in its season-opening win over Elk Grove, Libertyville bounced back against Lake Forest Academy last Saturday. Backup linebacker Cam Hays had 2 interceptions. QB Riley Lees scored two more touchdowns, giving his eight for the season, while wide receiver Cam Shaffer caught a pair of TD passes. Zion-Benton has scored 81 points in wins over Westosha Central and Waukegan. Quarterback DeAndre Green (2 rushing TDs, 1 passing TD, 139 rushing yards) and running back T.J. Brister (158 rushing yards) led the Z-B offense against Waukegan.
