Naperville resident to appear on 'Wheel of Fortune'

Ashley Fisher, age 28, was a contestant on "Wheel of Fortune" this past summer. Fisher and her mother, Bonnie, flew out to California in July for the taping at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif. The episode will air on Monday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m. on ABC7.

To celebrate this fun event, they are hosting a viewing party at Bar Louie in downtown Naperville with all of her close family and friends. They will enjoy two personalized cakes that will both have a "Wheel of Fortune" theme while watching the Naperville native on the big screens.

Ashley has been watching the show ever since she can remember and has auditioned three times in her lifetime. The last audition was in October 2014 at the Palmer House in downtown Chicago. She is a sixth-grade math teacher in the Troy30c School District and mentioned that all of her students, past and present, are so excited to watch the episode. She hopes she makes everyone proud!
