Three women receive Bartlett Woman's Club Re-Entry Scholarships

The Bartlett Woman's Club recently gave out three $750 scholarships to area women, from money raised at the Bartlett Woman's Club annual Spring Fashion Show fundraiser. The scholarship was established to assist women over 21, who wish to re-enter the business or education field.

The following winners of the annual Woman's Re-entry Scholarships are:

Stephanie Falco, who is enrolled via distant learning at the University of Alabama, and pursuing a master's degree in library and information services.

Carey Haegeland, a mother who attends Harper College, is pursuing an bachelor's degree in applied science in business administration and human resource management.

Tirzah Nikolaou, who is enrolled at Elgin Community College and pursuing an associate degree in applied science/nursing.

The Bartlett Woman's Club is for women ages 18 and older and sponsors many social and philanthropic events each year including the annual Senior Citizen's Lunch, Lunch with the Easter Bunny, Spring Scholarship Fashion Show, Supper Club, Breakfast Club, Bunco Club, Special Olympics events, and monthly first Tuesday 7 p.m. meetings at the Log Cabin with guest speakers, and more.
