'Corporatists' taking control of economy

Talk about strange bedfellows. Donald Trump was recently quoted as saying that "China's (currency) devaluation is a ploy for competitive advantage against the United States." Trump was also quoted on Twitter as saying "As I have long stated, we are so tied in with China and Asia that their markets are now taking the U.S. market down. Get smart U.S.A."

If I hadn't told you, would you think those quotes were from Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders?

Both political extremes (left and right) recognize that the USA has given away our manufacturing and middle class advantages to Communist countries like China. In return, committees in these communist countries now have the capability to manipulate our stock market, and our economy, by manipulating their currency.

We were recently told that our stock market was in retreat because of a "market correction" and "Free Trade" forces? Not true. Our stock market (and your 401K) has been in decline because of the devaluation of the currency of China, initiated and controlled exclusively by a communist committee in China that dictates the value of their currency relative to the dollar solely at their own discretion.

And our international corporations think that is a good thing for a communist country to be able to do? No. If our corporations could control China, why do they still insist on unfair tax breaks such as the Foreign Investment Tax Credit?

Go ask your congressman why.

Today, with such a preponderance of "corporatists" in our government, including our own Randy Hultgren and Peter Roskam in Congress from Illinois and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker next door, our politics are now unfettered from any moral or ethical compass.

Domination of corporate millions in our political system is unchecked. If both Trump and Sanders can see that, we should too.
