The issue now is wasteful policies

Has the Daily Herald lost their editorial objectivity? The continued dialogue on the COD issues appears that they have.

The real issue has never been addressed. Anyone without a criminal background can run for public office without any credentials in fiscal responsibility. This is our basic problem across this nation in D.C., state and local public offices.

It should be mandatory that anyone who chooses to run for public office be schooled in their fiscal responsibility before running. It should be a basic qualification so that we don't waste taxpayer money.

COD is a prime example and Ms. Hamilton had the courage and fortitude to reverse the appalling lack of fiscal responsibility under Mr. Breuder.

Now it is time for the Daily Herald to create a discussion on the root cause of wasteful public policies.
