Outlook: The two teams have not met since 2004. Leyden won its opener for the first time in three years after crushing Fenton 42-7. David DeMarais rushed for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns to account for most of the eagle offense.
Leyden's defense was also stout, allowing just 111 yards of total offense while picking off 2 passes. York is coming off a 28-14 loss to New Trier.
