Technology Tips for Seniors

For those not born with a keyboard and mouse in hand, technology expert and author Abby Stokes can help. Learn to navigate the digital world of gadgets and learn the basics of today's technology when Stokes presents "Is This Thing On?" Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Windsor Park, a senior living community operated by Covenant Retirement Communities and located at 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream, Ill. 60188.

Titled after her book, "Is This Thing On? A Friendly Guide to Everything Digital for Newbies, Technophobes, and the Kicking & Screaming," Stokes has helped more than a quarter of a million people understand and use the latest technology, including the Internet, computers, tablets, smartphones and email.
