Hanover Township sponsoring anti-bullying video contest

Hanover Township's Committee on Youth is sponsoring an anti-bullying video contest for township students in grades 3-12.

Students are encouraged to submit videos as individuals, teams or as part of a school project by Oct. 1.

The committee says videos should be no longer than two minutes, and can focus on students' opinions on bullying, support for those who have been bullied, or sending a message to bullies.

Winners will be chosen from the elementary school, middle school and high school levels, and each first place winner will receive a $200 prize.

All winners will be recognized at a Hanover Township board of trustees meeting.
