Platform 18 Tavern and Grill Plans Grand Opening Celebration September 12
BARTLETT, ILL (September 1, 2015) - Platform 18 Tavern & Grill (The Platform), the historic century old property located at 113 Railroad Avenue, will celebrate the grand opening of the newly remodeled restaurant on Saturday, September 12 2015, at 5 p.m. The first 18 tables will each enjoy a free appetizer, and will be entered to win exclusive prizes such as the opportunity to join Arianna Grande on tour at the United Center.
The Platform was born as part of a new generation of the classic American tavern and grill; a lively upscale restaurant and bar that offers the affordable, craveable American food guests want to eat. Based on the needs of the community, and feedback from many residents and business owners, this new and exciting concept was conceived. The Platform will be a smart, yet casual place for friends and customers to enjoy not just the food, but also the fun and energetic atmosphere.

The location has a rich history, dating back to the late 1800's. Since before its conception in 1891, the Village of Bartlett had been a platform for growth and opportunity. From the exceptional hunting, which drew the earliest pioneers, to the 40-acre woodlot owned by Luther Bartlett himself, the land was unique, and so were its humble origins. In the late 1800's, a town survived according to its proximity to a rail line. Luther and Sophia Bartlett understood this fact, and believed that a train stop would be a great and lasting benefit to them and their neighbors. To this day, their instinct held true, as the Pacific Railway gave life to the town, and to the Platform's century old predecessor, which has remained a cornerstone in the heart of the community.
Many changes and improvements await the customers, including a new outdoor patio, a rejuvenated interior, new lighting, fresh exterior paint, repaved parking lot, an enhanced audio/visual system, video gaming, and a superb staff.
"Platform 18 will once again become a staple of this community," said Gianforte. "Our food will be affordable, yet innovative, upscale and fresh. As a unique culinary destination, we have an exciting list of handpicked drinks, a refined menu, and incredible staff, which intends to earn its place as a truly great place for friends, family and business patrons to meet, eat and play."
The party will be hosted by Star 105.5. Media and guests will enjoy a fun mix of food, drinks, entertainment, giveaways and a special celebrity appearance opening night.
Platform 18 Tavern and Grill is located at 113 Railroad Ave, Bartlett, Il. Hours of operations are 4-11 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
