Barrington BG stay perfect in MSL

Barrington's girls golf team ran its record to 6-0 in the Mid-Suburban League by a shooting a 163 to defeat Hersey (171) and host Hoffman Estates (231) at Highland Woods Golf Course on Tuesday.

Medalist Reena Sulkar fired a 38 while teammates Allie Quinn (39), Nicole Ciskowski (42) and Ishani Majmudar (44) also counted their scores.

Lexi Heidkamp paced the Huskies (3-3) with a 40, followed by Maggie Anderson (43), Megan Kopeny (44) and Sophia Cacioppo (44).

Sakhee Sakhardande paced Hoffman with a 53.

Buffalo Grove wins two: Buffalo Grove (172) also improved to 6-0 by defeating Prospect (183) and Conant (193) at the Buffalo Grove Golf Course (par 37).

Medalist Emily Carnes shot a 39 for BG, followed by teammates Haeri Lee (40), Jasmine Yi (45) and Katie Jarosz (48).

Prospect was paced by Sabrina Accardi (42), Kate Ponzi (45), Mary Schafer (46) and Emily Fleming (50)

Megan Nagorzanski shot a 44 for Conant.

Fremd wins two: Fremd (161) topped Schaumburg (188) and Wheeling at the Wildcats' Chevy Chase Country Club (par 36).

Jaehee Hur of Fremd was medalist with a 37, followed by her teammates Haezi Jung (38), Annie Gao (42), Grace Lee (49) and Sophia Metallo (49).

Schaumburg was led by Jennifer Cappello (41) while Wheeling's low scorer was Kirsten Wilhelm (49).
