Ancient Oaks Foundation fundraiser

Ancient Oaks Foundation of Lake Zurich will host a fundraiser, Monarchs & Margaritas, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at 52 Robertson Road, Lake Zurich. Organizers also will celebrate the foundation's one-year anniversary. The event will feature aerial yoga performers, food, music, a silent auction and volunteer of the year winner announcement. A representative from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Department will be on hand, and there will be displays of the organization's current and future projects. The newly formed nonprofit organization aims to restore the oak woodlands and natural areas of Lake Zurich. It is also involved with many other groups, including Scouts, conservation groups with educational programs and fun nature walks.
