Animal Hospital of Lake Villa hosts open house

Animal Hospital of Lake Villa hosted its third annual open house Aug. 22. The event was open to the public and included fun for the whole family.

A bouncy house kept the kids laughing and so did their very own face painter. Terry Kaminski also made an appearance with his K-9 Ruger, and together they showed the audience how they fight crime. Dr. Ed McGinniss grilled up some delicious burgers and hot dogs; pie, pasta salad, watermelon, chips, and drinks were also served.

The Animal Hospital of Lake Villa also likes to get involved with the community as much as they can, so for this event they hosted a school supply drive. Staff members, clients and friends all donated school supplies on District 41's supply list. Children in need got a chance to pick out what they needed. Any left over supplies will be donated to District 41 and to the Lake Villa Pantry.
