Condell to host cardiac expo

Advocate Condell Medical Center's Heart Institute and the Advocate Mission and Spiritual Care Department will provide a panel of medical professionals at the Heart & Soul Community Cardiac Expo, from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. This event is free to the public at the medical center's conference center, 700 Garfield Ave, Libertyville. Guests will have the opportunity to inquire about their interests and questions related to heart health and to hear information presented on prevention, diet, exercise, disease management, recovery and more from the panel, which includes a cardiologist, a cardiac rehabilitation nurse, an outpatient nutritionist and a chaplain. Guests also can browse booths and enjoy refreshments, giveaways and raffles. Call (800) 323-8622 and use class code 3C38 to register for the expo. The first 25 registrants be entered to win a Fitbit and will receive a free one-week pass to the Centre Club Fitness Center.
